Don't worry about the announcement giving out the info about graduation; it is an ANNOUNCEMENT, not an INVITATION. It is perfectly acceptable for you to include with the announcement an invitation to a post graduation celebration. Most graduates host "open houses". This is sort of like a party where you can just pop in to toast the graduate and stay for as long as you can. The benefit of this is since all your friends are hosting parties at the same time, you can all visit one another's parties.

For your invitation, get some good quality paper and print a very simple not giving the details of the party and include that in the graduation announcements. Congratulations.

P.S. Seriously, schools need to give graduates an etiquette class about how to do these things.
