Try checking the properties of your printer. Maybe that can do the trick

download a free trial for Adobe Photoshop. it only lasts about 30 days but that's more than enough time to use it for what you need.

There's a program in Microsoft Office called Publisher which can be helpful in creating cards. It provides a lot of templates, and allows you to select from a wide variety of clip art, fonts, and colors. What's especially nice is that, if you make a card it'll print the final product in a way that'll nicely fold into a card.
I used this program to make a bridal shower card and it worked out very well, and inexpensively.
