Firstly, the University of Notre Shame is anything but Catholic, but then, the Pope and his henchman are anything but Catholic, so this should be no surprise. I agree with the other reader; this has nothing to do with Obama, as such. All politicians are cut from the same bolt of rotten cloth. How this speaker could then defend the low-life scumbags who dare to call themselves “Catholic bishops” is quite beyond me. They are neither Catholic, nor Churchmen, but “priests” of the Novus Ordo Sect.

the dvd idea sounds awesome, but it may be difficult to send to a whole bunch of people. i suggest that you don't put a graduation cap or anything like that on the invitation, it always looks corny. you should put a picture representing high school or collage or a picture of yourself

Why not be creative and more personal rather than following a template?

The information that would logically be included is your name, your school, your degree title, and your date of graduation.

But unless your purpose for sending the announcement is trolling for gifts, why not use it as an opportunity to say thanks? Just include a short statement to thank family, friends and faculty for their encouragement and support over the years. Tell them how much it has meant to you.

If you know where you are going next–job, move, etc.– you could also use this as an opportunity to update them with new address and such. A picture of you as the smiling new grad would be nice for people who maybe haven't seen you as much while you've been in school.

Short and sweet and sincere is the way to go.
